Welcome to 2020! A brand new year and a clean slate to get stuck into. Here are our top 10 tips on entering 2020 as your best self.


1. Create a vision for the year ahead

Having an idea in mind of how you'd like the year to pan out is a great starting point. Creating a vision will allow you to tap into the bigger picture and make each day easier to plan.


2. Set Goals

Having certain goals that you'd like to achieve by the end of the year is a great way to remain motivated. However big or small, goals will create direction. 


3. Be thankful for 2019

However your year went, be grateful for what you've been through. It will put you in a positive and healthy mindset for 2020.


4. Take Ownership

Take ownership for things that may have not gone to plan this year. Knowing when you've made mistakes will only help you to learn from them.


5. Live in the moment

Life is for living so don't get caught up too much on the little things. Take each win and run with it. You only get one life, so make sure to live it. This attitude will be nothing but beneficial in 2020.


6. Believe in yourself

Begin this year truly believing that you will achieve great things. The success that you want begins in your mind.


7. Disconnect from the world for a while

Start enjoying independent time. Whether it's a walk through your favourite park or stopping at your favourite coffee shop, disconnecting from the rest of the world is so important for self-reflection and your own personal journey.


8. Review your network

The people you surround yourself with have an impact on every aspect of your life. As this year draws to a close, take time to think about those who are having a positive affect on your life and those that are having a more negative impact. It's OK to take a step back from certain individuals to benefit your own wellbeing.


9. Start reading

Avid readers often have a wealth of knowledge and experience. Broaden your horizons and take up reading - just 1 book a month could change so much!


10. Balance

Find a balance between your work and home life. As desperate as you may be to pursue your dreams, rest is super important and vital if you want to succeed.
